COUNSELLING & TALKING THERAPIES WITH

Estelle Harrison

Support. Self-Discovery. Self-Care

Hello & Welcome…

I’m so glad you’re here. Taking the step to seek support is an act of courage, and I’m here to offer a warm, respectful, and understanding space to help you navigate whatever it is you’re going through.

“Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves.”

Rainer Maria Rilke

Let’s be honest—life doesn’t always deliver the peace, love, and light we hope for. More often than not, life is messy & stressful. Sometimes, it’s just difficult and unfair.

When life gets out of balance, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and alone. If this sounds familiar, you might feel stuck and unsure of where to turn.

But here’s the good news: you don’t have to figure it all out on your own.

Feeling Stuck or Overwhelmed?

How I Can Support You

Getting the support you need shouldn’t add to your stress. I offer online and telephone counselling, so you can access professional therapy from the comfort and convenience of your home.

“Ring the bells that still can ring,

forget your perfect offering.

There’s a crack in everything,

that’s how the light gets in”

Leonard Cohen

Online Counselling for Adults and Young People

Accessible, flexible, and tailored to your needs.

Online counselling offers professional support without the stress of travel or time constraints, making it easier to fit therapy into your schedule.

Support

Everyone needs support at times, but asking for help can feel daunting.

What if you had a safe, non-judgmental space to explore your thoughts and feelings, knowing you don’t have to face everything alone?

Self-Discovery

Who are you beneath the expectations, roles, and past experiences?

Therapy offers the opportunity to deepen self-awareness, uncover patterns, and reconnect with the most authentic version of yourself.

Self-Care

Looking after your mental and emotional well-being isn’t a luxury—it’s essential.

How often do you give yourself permission to slow down, reflect, and truly nurture yourself?

Counselling for Adults

I offer a safe and welcoming space where you can feel truly heard and understood.

Together, we’ll explore the challenges you’re facing, uncover their roots, and work at a pace that feels right for you—helping you gain clarity, resilience, and self-compassion.

Accessible online therapy sessions tailored to your mental health needs.

Counselling for Young People

With over 15 years of experience supporting young people, I understand the unique challenges they face.

I provide a safe and supportive space where your child can explore their thoughts and feelings, build confidence, and develop the tools they need to navigate life’s challenges.

“I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become.”

— Carl Jung

About Estelle

Estelle has a borderline unhealthy obsession with knitwear (because what’s a counsellor without an extensive cardigan collection?) and loves a good conversation.

  • Estelle is a qualified counsellor and lover of warm beverages based in the North West of England, offering online therapy to adults and young people across the UK and beyond.

She holds a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and is an Accredited Professional member of the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS). She is also registered with the NCPS as a specialist Children & Young People’s Therapist.

Estelle is a recognised counselling provider for Bupa, Aviva, Vitality Health, Allianz, and WPA—so if you have insurance, it might just cover your sessions.

Before discovering her true calling as a counsellor, Estelle spent over 15 years navigating the wild world of education. With a degree in English and a teaching qualification under her belt, she worked closely with young people, gaining a deep understanding of neurodiversity, adolescent angst, and the unique challenges young people face. She also gained first-hand experience of stress and burnout and learned the hard way that even the most supportive workplaces often come with a side of chronic exhaustion and passive-aggressive emails. Retraining over four years of night classes, she juggled study, work and the occasional existential crisis.

Following an 18-month stint as a school counsellor, she embraced full-time private practice in 2022—and has never looked back.

Approachable, down-to-earth, and occasionally sweary, Estelle likes black coffee and walks in the woods. When she’s not counselling, she can be found messing with paints, scribbling in notebooks or negotiating with her houseplants (who, despite her best efforts, remain emotionally unavailable).

Estelle wholeheartedly agrees with Socrates that the unexamined life is not worth living—but unlike the great philosopher, she also enjoys not taking life too seriously and staying out of prison. Either way, life is for living, reflecting, and enjoying—preferably with a brew and a biscuit.

“The hero’s journey always begins with the call. One way or another, a guide must come to say, ‘Look, you’re in Sleeping Land. Wake. Come on a journey.”

Joseph Campbell
